Our little girl came to us after experiencing first year foster care with a very loving foster mom, then a stint with birth dad till 3½ years old. Followed by 5 foster homes and lucky for us, here, the past 2 years, one year in foster care and one year adopted.

They were placed in one home as long as a year and a half. The TPR process was started but was later dropped when the girls’ foster parents were struggling with their behaviors and asked to have them removed. The decision then became to send the girls home since they were so attached to their father and he was doing fairly well. The case manager thought he needed more time, but, given the circumstances, they went ahead and sent them home in spite of her concerns.

She is 9 years old and has come a long way. She loves cats, cows, farm work, and just keeping busy. She is our Special Angel. She has three brothers and three sisters, and now she is in a complete family.
