KW, a bright, intelligent, 12yearold girl resides
in a treatment foster home in Eau Claire County through Family Works.
KW struggles with reactive attachment disorder as she has been shifted from one relative to the other
since she was born, when her parents were unable to care for her.
KW came to her current treatment foster home almost one year ago and has made progress in many areas.
She has remained on the B Honor Roll since the beginning of the school year.
She has leadership and teaching skills. She can also be very pleasant.
KW was nominated and won a pride award for consistently offering her help to her homeroom teacher in special education.
KW is in the process of transitioning to her mothers home and this is going very well.
KW expressed this on her quilt square by stating Workers Helping Children get Home! Way to go KW!
